Captain Obediah Pierce Place features four fully furnished, one bedroom, one bathroom townhouse suites in a newly renovated Federal house with a winding center staircase. Each suite offers front and side entrances, separate living and dining rooms, and a full kitchen with all appliances, dishware, cookware, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Additional amenities include: cable television, VCR, wireless internet, individual a/c and heat controls, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Complimentary towels and bed linens are provided upon request.

Weekly or bi-weekly Housekeeping services are available.  Please inquire.

SUPERB LOCATION

Ideally situated in the heart of Falmouth's Historic District, "Captain Obediah Pierce Place" offers a stately setting located on one of the town's most attractive residential streets. Circa 1812, the grace and charm of this former sea captain's home has been carefully preserved while providing the most contemporary conveniences. Today's residents may still enjoy the wide plank hardwood floors, the ancient elms and holly trees, and even the original outhouse with stained glass window (now the mailbox location!) along with their microwaves, dishwashers and wireless internet!

Within easy walking distance is charming Main Street, with its one-of-a-kind shops, more than a dozen great restaurants and cafes, art galleries, vintage trolley, duck pond, churches and the Village Green. (also, the post office, library, banks, dry cleaners, beauty salons and hardware store!) Just a short stroll in the other direction will take you to picturesque Surf Drive Beach with fabulous views of Martha's Vineyard Island, Falmouth Heights and Nobska Lighthouse.   • 50% deposit due at the time of booking. Balance due on arrival. Payment may be made by personal check or money order accompanied by credit card number with authorization to charge any outstanding fees.
     
  • Cancellation Policy: 45 days or more prior to arrival - Refund of deposit less $250.00 fee
    44 days or less prior to arrival - Deposit forfeited.*

    *  Rentals are for the full period reserved. Arrival following or departure prior to the dates reserved must be charged at the full rate for the entire period reserved. Exceptions to this policy may not be made regardless of the reason, as Ketterer Realty must have at least 44-45 days notice to attempt re-rental of cancelled reservations.
     
    *  Monthly rate varies by length of full rental period.  Weekly or bi-weekly housekeeping services available at an additional charge.  Please inquire.

  • Corporate Rental - Year round or monthly rental fees available. Please inquire. First and last month's rent plus security deposit may apply.
     
  • Checks returned by the bank will require a $35.00 fee to Ketterer Realty.
     
  • Captain Obediah Pierce Place is a non-smoking, pet-free environment. Designated smoking areas are provided on the grounds.
